Sun Country Gems Tour

In case you haven't guessed, we were located on a pretty remote site, and I do mean pretty. Check out the views!

We were right at the Southernmost tip of the Rocky Mountains, in the foothills of Sandia Peak. This was our view to the South.

Thunderstorms are frequent in summer and provide most of the area's moisture. This cloud was to the North of us.

In the desert, we get most of our rain in the summer - July and August. This was the view Westward.

The desert had beautiful sunsets. (You know the sun always sets in the West.)

The night sky was beautiful too. This was a moonrise to the East of us.
