Silver Charms

Charms are small pendants made of metal that often include gemstones used in jewelry making. They add interest, texture, and beauty to many items far beyond the traditional "charm bracelet." We offer primarily sterling silver charms in our jewelry supplies, due to the reasonable cost of silver and its durability. However, we sometimes also have gem set charms in stock, as they compliment our gemstone beads.

Charms are often used to communicate in either symbolic or written form, as they sometimes are shaped in the form of letters or symbols or have letters and/or words stamped or embossed on them. Some people wear charms as symbols of good luck, believing that their association with the symbol will, in fact, bring them luck. Others wear charms as a form of self-expression, wearing symbols of their religion, hobbies, dreams, zodiac sign, or birth date. Try adding a few charms to your jewelry making supplies and see how much more personalized your jewelry becomes.

In the case of silver, avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and abrasion. When gemstones are included in the charm, care should be taken to avoid high heat, harsh chemicals, and impact.
