Think of bullion as panty hose for your thread. Using wire cutters, cut off a tiny piece of bullion (we use about 1/3 inch) and thread your beaded string through it. It's hollow, like a tiny spring. Then string your thread around the clasp as usual. If you are using crimp beads, don't try to make the bullion go through the crimp. The bullion only covers the thread where it contacts the clasp. When you pull the thread tight, the bullion will bunch up a little and create a nice metallic connection between the beads and the clasp.
